During the meeting with the delegation of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has voiced the need to intensify joint efforts of Ukraine and the EU to counter Russian propaganda.

“The meeting particularly stressed the need for the intensification of joint efforts to counter Russian propaganda both in Ukraine and in the European Union,” the press service of Petro Poroshenko reports.

The President also noted the need to coordinate actions for de-occupation of Crimea and cessation of continuing violations of the Ukrainians’ rights on the peninsula.

"Now my country is going through one of the toughest periods in its history, but we believe that together we can stop the aggressor and liberate the Ukrainian territory, as well as carry out reforms and implement the Association Agreement,” Poroshenko said.
