Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will come to Minsk on Wednesday evening to partake in talks held in the "Normandy format".

The Ukrainian chief of state will arrive in Belarus at approximately 4 p.m. Kyiv time (5 p.m. Moscow time) and go straight to negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Francois Hollande and German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, informed sources told Interfax.

The Ukrainian president is not scheduled to hold any bilateral meetings. Once the visit to Minsk is over, Poroshenko will go to Brussels to attend an EU summit, which will be reviewing the Ukraine situation on February 12.
