PARIS (QHA) -

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expressed gratitude to French President Francois Hollande for the efforts aimed at the de-occupation of Crimea and Donbas.

- I want to express gratitude to François Hollande for his efforts on the way to the establishment of peace in Ukraine, as well as de-occupation of Crimea and Donbas. Recent developments and steps have demonstrated the effectiveness of the Normandy format. By joint efforts we have managed to liberate Nadiya Savchenko, Gennady Afanasiev and Yuri Soloshenko, reads a statement.

The Head of State stressed that "Ukraine is committed to the Minsk Agreements and clearly fulfills all its obligations."

Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko is on a working visit to France. Today, June 21, the President is to meet with French President Francois Hollande and the Chairmen of the Upper and Lower Houses of the French Parliament.
