President Poroshenko has signed a law to increase Ukrainian Armed Forces to 250,000 people, press service of the Ukrainian Parliament reports.

The Verkhovna Rada passed the corresponding law on March 5. According to the text of the law, the maximum number of Ukrainian Armed Forces will be increased to 250,000 people, including – 204,000 military.

Earlier, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak announced that the number of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will reach a quarter million people in a month.

Right now, according to him, there are 230,000 people, but the figure will grow to 250,000 people after the planned mobilization.
