KYIV (QHA) -
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the law "On Ratification of the Agreement on Cooperation between Ukraine and the European Organization for Justice Issues", adopted earlier by the Verkhovna Rada, according to the report on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
 
The purpose of this agreement is to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the European Justice Organization in the fight against serious crimes, in particular organized crime and terrorism. The agreement to facilitate the coordination of investigations conducted on the territory of Ukraine and other members of the European Union.
 
The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine is designated as the competent body to implement the provisions of this agreement in Ukraine.


 
Earlier, QHA reported that February 23, the Lower House of the Netherlands Parliament approved the bill, introducing the ratification of the "Agreement on the EU-Ukraine Association"
