Poroshenko ordered creation of corridor to withdraw Donbas civilians

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko tasked to create a corridor for peaceful population, wishing to leave the ATO territory, the presidential press service informs.

“To prevent new victims in the area where the anti-terrorist operation is conducted, the President of Ukraine tasked law enforcers to create all necessary conditions for peaceful population, who wishes to leave,” a statement reads.

During a meeting with heads of Security Service of Ukraine, Interior Ministry, Defense Ministry and State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Poroshenko also tasked the government to undertake organization of transportation of people, measures on medical servicing and to establish a mobile network to provide peaceful population with drinking water, food and medicines.

In addition, the President obliged local state administrations with participation of the local self-government to accommodate people, who arrive from the areas of the anti-terrorist operation.
