Young people subject to military service will not be conscripted into army before the local elections, stated the President at the briefing on October 21 in Ivano-Frankivsk city.
In addition, according to the head of state, all the rumors that persons liable for military service will be conscripted into the army just at polling stations, are aimed at disrupting the electoral process.
“I think that not coincidentally this information has appeared just on the eve of the elections. This is to try to disrupt the electoral process. It is obvious that these issues (mobilization and recruitment) are to be solved at the level of the President and the legislation,” Petro Poroshenko said.
It was reported earlier that the elections will be held in Ukraine on Sunday, October 25, 2015.
