KYIV (QHA) -

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko discussed the issues of de-occupation of Crimea with the heads of the parliaments of Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden, the President’s press office reports.

According to Poroshenko, Ukraine is cooperating with the Council of Europe in this matter: a new commission has been formed to visit the areas where Russia violates the rights of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars.

“In addition, the President cited numerous facts of human rights violations in Crimea and called on the parliaments of the Nordic and Baltic countries to keep the issue under close scrutiny,” reads the statement.
