KYIV (QHA) -

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should create an interdepartmental coordinating body, which will formulate a claim of Ukraine to the Russian Federation for the reimbursement of losses caused by the annexation of the Crimea and the occupation of the Donbas, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko made a corresponding statement on his Facebook page.

According to him, the armed aggression of Russia entails human losses and the destruction of the economy of the occupied territories, as well as the destruction of infrastructure.

“Therefore, we should not waste a minute to form a consolidated claim of Ukraine to Russia to compensate for the damage. Appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to take measures for the early establishment of the appropriate interagency coordination body,” Poroshenko wrote.

The Head of State emphasized that he expects a detailed plan from the government on the complex development of territories adjacent to the occupied ones.

QHA reported that Petro Poroshenko called on Ukraine's friends and partners to support the declaration of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo about non-recognition of the annexation of the Crimea. He thanked the administration of US President Donald Trump for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine in internationally recognized borders.

Earlier, Mike Pompeo in a statement entitled "Crimea Declaration" noted that the country will support the policy of non-recognition of the annexation of the Crimea by Russia until the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. US Secretary of State called on Russia to stop occupation.
