Poroshenko arrived in Israel

During his visit, President is going to hold meetings with the leadership of the country, businessmen and immigrants from Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is now on a state visit to Israel for two days, December 22 to 23, 2015, Presidential press service reports.

“The program of the visit includes meetings of President Poroshenko with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilus III,” says the statement.

Ukrainian President is expected to address the Knesset (Parliament - Ed.) of the State of Israel.

Furthermore, a number of bilateral documents are to be signed during the visit. According to the agency, President is going to meet with representatives of business circles of Israel, immigrants from Ukraine and volunteers.

Petro and Marina Poroshenko will also meet with the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilus III, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and the Mount Herzl.
