Poroshenko and John Kerry discussed plan on de-occupation of Crimea

According to the US, the extension of sanctions against Russia is an important and necessary tool to implement the Minsk Agreements.

The Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko and the US Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the problems of occupied Crimea, the President of Ukraine wrote on Facebook:

- We’ve discussed a political and diplomatic path for de-occupation of Crimea, as well as an active protection of the rights of Crimean Tatars. The US confirms a need to maintain sanctions against Russia in order to implement the Minsk agreements and stop Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
