- We’ve visited Nadiya Savchenko in prison. Today is the last day to appeal the verdict, we urged her to do it. She refused, Savchenko’s lawyer Nicholay Polozov wrote on Facebook.
He also said her health is currently stable.
- Nadiya’s health condition is stable. She drinks only water, weighs 64 kg, her pressure is 110/60, the temperature is normal, according to Polozov.
March, 22 the Donetsk City Court in Rostov Region sentenced Savchenko to 22 years in prison. The pilot said she would resume a hunger strike on the tenth day after the verdict comes into effect.
