47% of those polled believe a blockade will help bring Crimea back. 28% of the respondents think a blockade will help apply some pressure on Russia. 23% said a blockade will achieve nothing.

Other viewers stated their position by leaving comments on the channel’s website.

Most of those posting comments believe the blockade will only be effective if it lasts for at least a month. Some were of the opinion nobody in Ukraine needs Crimea and it belongs where it is now, while others thought Crimean residents were so brainwashed by Russian propaganda they cannot be helped now.

The blockade, to be held by the Mejlis of Crimean Tatars on September 20-21, has the support of the majority of the Ukrainian population, Ukrainian patriots and members of the Ukrainian government.
