Russia has the potential to destroy many countries that makes it more dangerous than terrorist groups like "Islamic State," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski told a security conference in Bratislava as cited by The Guardian.

- There are existential and non-existential threats. By all evidence, Russia’s activity is a sort of existential threat because this activity can destroy countries, said Waszczykowski.

He went on saying that Poland calls on NATO to deploy troops on the eastern border of NATO, and expressed the hope that the Warsaw summit of NATO due to be held in July will approve it.

- The presence of military forces from different NATO countries will be a symbol of the determination to defend the eastern flank, said Waszczykowski.

Deputy Secretary General of NATO said that the alliance would not cooperate with Russia until it withdraws its troops from Donbas and returns Crimea to Ukraine.
