Natalia Poklonskaya is ready to change the "Prosecutor’s" shoulder straps for a mandate of the deputy with the Russia’s State Duma. However, she stressed that she is ready to run for an office "solely due to a sincere desire to work for the benefit of Russia and to help people."
- If my involvement with or without shoulder straps is necessary, I am ready to serve for the good of our country, our homeland, to help people, to make our homeland prosper and strengthen. It is a great honor for me, I will do my best to justify confidence of the leadership and people as well. I will do everything not to let them down, reported RIA Crimea citing Poklonskaya.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced the decision to put on the list of candidates for State Duma of the seventh convocation the next people: Crimean "Prosecutor" Nataliya Poklonskaya and Crimea’s "Head" Sergei Aksenov, Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, Director Stanislav Govorukhin, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The candidates are nominated as members of the United Russia Party.
