(QHA) -

The process of formation and deployment of a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine can last at least six months. Deputy head of the Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly has told this Ukrainian 5 Channel, UNN reports.

"It takes from four to eight months. It will not be fast, this process takes half a year," Chaly said.

He recalled that the mandate was approved after the Secretary General had sent the group to analyze the situation and form the mandate.

"We hope that not only the UN but also the European countries will participate. It could be one membership at the first stage, and it could be a police mission when situation is improved," the Presidential Administration representative said.
