WARSAW (QHA) -

Russian opposition People's Freedom Party (PARNAS) favors the extension of anti-Russian sanctions up to the full de-occupation of Crimea by Russia, as well as the implementation of all requirements of the Minsk agreements, according to a statement published on the party’s official website.

“The resolution enshrined that ALDE Party, as well as the parties within the ALDE, and the ALDE faction are to insist on continuation of sanctions against the Russian authorities at the European Parliament until the end of the occupation of Crimea and full implementation of all requirements of the Minsk Agreement,” reads the statement.

Reportedly, the delegation from the PARNAS party participated in the annual Congress of the European Party "Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe" (ALDE) in Warsaw on December 3, discussing a number of initiatives, including a position on the humanitarian disaster in Aleppo.

In March, the leader of the Russian party PARNAS, Mikhail Kasyanov, said that if his political force wins the election, he would immediately solve the issues of the annexation of Crimea and the war in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions through "discussions with the Ukrainian government within legislative framework."
