At night police arrested one of the battalion soldiers Sergey Boyko, MP for the Brovaty City Council. He is being kept in the Podolsk District Department at Horiva St., reported the QHA (Crimean News Agency) citing the OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists) battalion commander Nikolai Kohanivsky.

Then, speaking at the rally at the Independence Square, Kohanivsky said:

- Even if revolution doesn’t start today, it will still happen. It’s going on! Said the battalion commander.

The rally participants believe currently a major war is not in the east of Ukraine, but in Kyiv, and that the whole country should unite again at Maidan.

- No flags of political parties, no MPs! Be a simple citizen and stand here at the Maidan, said one of the speakers.

Further, the floor was taken by a well-known nationalist Stepan Khmara who once again called for the overthrow of the current government, calling it a "mafia, which came to power on Maidan bones and blood." He also said the Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars have one goal now.

- Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars have one common goal – unitary and indivisible Ukraine! said Khmara.
