The situation at the civilian blockade of Crimea is tense, but remains under control, wrote the Head of the Special Monitoring Mission Alexander Hug on the Twitter page.

- The OSCE monitors the blockade of three entry-exit Crimean checkpoints. The situation was tense in spots, but no incidents have been fixed, said Hug.

Reminder: as of Sept. 20 Ukraine-Crimea border checkpoints have been blocked to prevent entry of trucks traveling from the mainland Ukraine to Crimea. Food prices have stepped up on the peninsula. In turn, the Crimean Prosecutor's Office banned to use word "Mejlis" in the local media. Allegedly, no organization with this word is officially registered.
