Oleg Lyashko, the leader of the Radical Party, has never given up on his idea of revolution. He accuses the government of being corrupt and engaging in political persecutions. Today, his followers have put up a stage outside the Cabinet of Ministers building where they will be able to speak their mind.

“Come join us for a VECHE (‘a gathering’) which will take place at the Tariff Maidan in Kiev at 6 p.m.,” says Oleg Lyashko.

In the meantime, police are standing nearby without interfering in the situation. The protesters, numbering as few as 100, have put up large tents and set firewood on fire. Residents of Kiev, who are passing the gathering in their cars, are hardly taking any notice of it.
