The information on the creation of the "regional self-government bodies" was aired in a news piece of a pro-Russian "Millet" TV Channel.

The creation of "TOSes" will allow keeping in touch with the locals, as previously existing self-government bodies have fallen into oblivion, Teyfuk Gafarov, Deputy Head of the puppet Administration of the city of Simferopol, said in comments to a correspondent.

The journalist of ATR TV Channel Shevket Namatullaev believes that saying ‘’previously existing self-government bodies" Teyfuk meant local Mejlises.

- Teyfuk Gafarov, the Deputy Mayor of Simferopol, say they need to createTOSes since today's self-governments bodies have fallen into oblivion (meaning local Mejlises). In his speech Teyfuk even avoides using the word - Mejlis! However, he is one of 33 members of the Milli Mejlis, a representative body of the Crimean Tatar people, a member of the body Poklonskaya wants to prohibit and declare extremist, Namatullaev wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, some "organizations," trying to speak on behalf of the Crimean Tatars, appealed to Crimea’s "Prosecutor" Natalia Poklonskaya demanding to take possible measures to prevent the further work of the Mejlis and bring its members to justice. This is stated in a claim, a copy of which February, 15 Poklonskaya handed Nariman Dzhelyal, the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.
