U.S. does not intend to carry out military intervention into the crisis in Ukraine.  U.S. President Barack Obama said that on March 19, in an interview to NBC, according to ITAR-TASS.

According to Obama, there is a better way.

Obama stressed that it would be inappropriate to engage into military actions with Russia.  It would have not benefited Ukraine.

“What we intend to do is to mobilize all our diplomatic resources, in order to provide strong international response to Russia’s actions, which are strongly opposed by Washington”, noted Obama.

Obama also warned that the U.S. and its allies are prepared to use “even more devastating economic actions” against Russia than the previously introduced sanctions.

In an interview to another TV company in St. Louis (Missouri), which is part of the publishing group Gannett, Obama reiterated that there is no need for a real war with Russia over Ukraine.

“Ukrainians don’t want it.  No one wants,” he said.
