Not a single case of smuggling has been fixed at Crimean border, reported the spokesman Oleh Slobodian, Assistant to the Head of the Ukraine’s State Border Service.

- The situation at the checkpoints in the temporarily Russia-occupied territory remains is still calm and under control. As of now, there are neither trucks, no lines of cars at the checkpoints, said Slobodian.

The spokesman of the State Border Service said that they regularly meet with representatives of the Crimean Tatar people and activists. The official has also commented on the information that supposedly there side roads to bypass the checkpoints and enter the territory of Crimea.

- This information is false. The byroads outside entry / exit checkpoints simply do not exist, he said.
