KYIV (QHA) -

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is holding a sitting on Friday to examine the situation in Crimea, Speaker of the Parliament /acting President Oleksandr Turchynov has announced at Parliament meeting.

Turchynov is indignant that the Russian Armed Forces, despite the previous appeal, are moving round Crimean territory without advance approval and are trying to take over the control of sensitive infrastructure facilities, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As we earlier reported, Internal Affairs Minister Arsen Avakov accuses Russia of military invasion of Crimea.

On Feb. 27 unknown gunmen seized the buildings of the Crimean Parliament and of the Council of Ministers in Simferopol.

On Feb.28 Armed men, reportedly Russian naval soldiers, are blocking Crimea's Sevastopol airport, while other Russian forces are patrolling the airport in the regional capital, Simferopol.
