Known Russian historian and journalist Danila Yanevski, published in the social network a list of Russian cultural figures, who expressed support for Ukraine and condemned policy of Vladimir Putin. According to Yanevski, those are the people who supported the truth against the falsehood, reports ura-inform.com.
Thus, support for Ukrainian people was expressed by more than 30 cultural figures including Lia Akhedzhakova, Armen Jigarkhanyan, Eldar Ryazanov, Yuri Shevchuk, Andrey Makarevich, Boris Akunin and many more.
On the contrary, on March 11, a collective appeal of Russian cultural figures to President Putin was published on the official site of the Russian Ministry of Culture. More than 100 people- famous actors, artists, writers, entertainers, directors of museums and libraries expressed support for Putin’s actions in Ukraine.
The letter caused public resonance, especially among Ukrainian media and social network users.
