The body fragments, kept intact by the nearby villages’ authorities, have been uncovered outside of the village of Grabovo in the Donetsk region, reports UNIAN citing the Dutch Security and Justice Ministry.

The remains, plane wreckage and personal effects of the deceased will be taken to the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv and from there to the Netherlands for tests.

The search operation at the MH17 crash site was wrapped up in late April. However, Dutch Minister of Security and Justice Ard van der Steur claims 296 of 298 victims were identified, with two remaining unidentified.
