Finland decided to invest money in combating hybrid wars and approved an annual budget to finance countering hybrid wars, Deputy Minister of Information Policy Dmitry Zolotukhin said at a round table in Kyiv on April 24, QHA correspondent reports. He informed that a special Center for the Study of Hybrid Wars was established in Helsinki.
“Citizens of Finland voluntarily decided to invest in this Center. At the moment, according to information from various sources, the organization's budget is 1.5 million Euros. Approximately 50% of this amount the Finns pledged to invest independently. The remaining amount is contributed by the member countries of the organization."
According to the Deputy Minister, this organization is not part of the institutions of either the European Union or NATO.
