(QHA) - Russian MP Roman Khudyakov proposed fining migrants with 50,000 rubles for their first administrative violations and banning them from the country for 15 years for the second violation, Izvestia reports, according to Vestnik Kavkaza.net. He mentioned an example when a minibus driver with 8 violations had caused a traffic accident resulting in several people killed. Khudyakov noted that if the man had been deported after his second violation, there would have been no victims. Moscow legislators have proposed similar punishments. Yuri Demidov, Head of the Directorate for Public Order of the Russian Interior Ministry, said that the number of violations caused by migrants had increased by 86% in Q1 2013.
