Director of the Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Aleksey Makeyev believes that visiting the Russian Federation is dangerous for all citizens of Ukraine, according to his Twitter-account.

“Visits to the Russian Federation are dangerous for Ukrainians: baseless detention, provocations on the border and customs control, torture, non-admission of consuls,” he wrote and attached to the "Stop" sign post illustration.

Ukrainian consulate employees in Russia cannot get a meeting with the arrested Roman Sushchenko, an Ukrinform correspondent. The Russia’s FSB claimed that Sushchenko is a member of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

Roman Sushchenko is the correspondent of the Ukrainian National Information Agency "Ukrinform" in France Paris. He arrived in Russia on private business. Information about detention of Roman Sushchenko in Russian prison became known due to Russian human rights defenders who learnt about this quite by chance.
