Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba responded to the statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occupied Crimea.
"Crimean issue is really closed. Crimea is Ukraine. The question of type of Russian leaders' liability for annexation of Crimea is open," Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
As QHA reported earlier, Russian President Putin said that the Crimean issue is closed during his speech at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
"The people of Crimea took the decision and voted. The issue is historically closed. Return to the old system does not exist at all. No," said Putin.
