Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people to held session in Ukrainian city of Kherson on July 4, with Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Jemilev participation in the session.

Deputy head of Mejlis Nariman Jelal said this to QHA correspondent.

Head of Mejlis Refat Chubarov, who is now in Baku, attending the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe (OSCE PA) will also be present at the Mejlis session.

According to Jelal, the agenda of the session is not approved yet.

“The main thing, we will talk to our leader Mustafa Jemilev. We can discuss any issues with him. We are not meeting together very often”- he said.

He also added that Mejlis’s decision to conduct the session in Kherson comes as Mustafa Jemilev was banned from entering Crimea.

In April, 2014, Crimean authorities banned Crimean Tatar leader, former head of Mejlis, Ukrainian MP Mustafa Jemilev from entering the territory of Crimea over his “extremist activity”.

Crimean prosecutor also threatened to ban Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people if “engaged in extremist activity”.
