Mejlis given 24 hours more to evacuate the building

Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people was given 24 hours more to evacuate the building, leased by Crimea Fund charitable organization. Thus all the Mejlis stuff should lead till Sept 19.

Earlier, Sept 17, officers of justice read out a writ to the head of the Crimea Fund and member of the Mejlis, Riza Shevkiyev that the building should be evacuated within 24 hours.

Sept 18, Crimea fund was fined 50,000 rubles for the failure to meet the deadline and leave.

Mejlis, -- representative body of the Crimean Tatar People – was raided by FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) officers. They spent 12 hours searching the building.

Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Jemilev called the incident “a robbery raid”.
