Umerov came to the FSB accompanied by his lawyers, reported the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Nariman Dzhelyal on Facebook. The Mejlis Deputy Chairman is charged with making public appeals and committing actions aimed at violating Russia’s territorial integrity.
Dzhelyal also mentioned four Crimean Tatars arrested yesterday, May 18, during a rally in memory of the deportation victims.
Police filed charges against them under Section 20.2 of the Russia’s Administrative Code, namely, "Violation of the order of organizing or holding meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches and pickets." According to Nariman Dzhelyal, the administrative responsibility for such violations is fine.
The Mejlis representatives warned the detainees against testifying since the Crimean "authorities" can use it against the accused.

May, 18 the convoy of 20 vehicles, going with Crimean Tatar national flags from the city of Simferopol to the city of Bakhchisarai, was stopped by police officers. The latter accused the drivers of unsanctioned races.
