Delegation of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people met with Tatarstan President Rustam Minikhanov in Kazan, May 26.

The delegation included head of Mejlis Refat Chubarov, his deputy Ahtem Chiygoz, acting vice-premier of Crimean Lenur Islyamov, head of Bakhchisaray rayon administration Ilmi Umerov, and deputy director general of Bakhchisaray historical and cultural preserve Ali Abdullaev.

The special focus of the meeting was paid to issues on cooperation between Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people with the Tatarstan authorities.

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu headed to Moscow to attend the fourth meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group (JSPG) of the Russian-Turkish High-Level Cooperation Council, chaired by Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov.

Crimea will be the most important subject of the talks between Lavrov and Davutoglu on May 27.
