Mejlis delegation Nov 25 has met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu and the head of Religion Department of Turkey, prof. Mehmet Gormez in Ankara.

Mejlis delegation included Crimean Tatar leader, Ukrainian MP, Ukraine’s presidential envoy on the Crimean Tatar issue Mustafa Jemilev, the head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, Chubarov’s advisor on relations with Turkey Ismet Yuksel, deputy head of Mejlis Ahtem Chiygoz and Crimean Mufti Emirali Ablaev.

The delegation was met by the head of Crimean Tatar Dernek In Istanbul Celal Icten.

The sides have discussed issues devoted to Crimean situation and the situation of Crimean Tatars, protection of their rights and safety.

It should be noted that the meeting comes days before Russian President Vladimir Putin’s working visit to Turkey.
