The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation authorized the Prosecutor General's Office to check the Crimean authorities with regard to prolonged use of funds under the Federal Target Program for the Development of the Region.
The conflict arose after Sergei Aksenov complained about the lack of funding from the recently loyal Kremlin. His statement led to the creation of a Federal Commission to investigate the interim government of Crimea.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation claimed that RUB 1.98 billion has been allocated to Crimea, but what happened to the money, no one can answer. However, it is clear that the conflict is serious enough being known to the public.
