The Russian army will face serious losses in case it sets to seize a land "corridor" into occupied Crimea, said Yevhen Marchuk, Ukraine’s Spokesman in the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk.
According to him, since the start of the annexation of Crimea and the war in Donbas the Ukrainian army has achieved a lot. Therefore, the Russian army’s attempts to follow such a scenario will be no success.
- They say Russia will carve out a "corridor" to Crimea. It won’t do it any longer. We have done so much that it won’t be able to do it, otherwise it will have half a million Russian soldiers laid to rest, Marchuk said in an interview with Gromadske.
May 30, Deputy Secretary of the Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Mykhailo Koval said that Moscow is getting ready for an offensive to seize the land "corridor" to Crimea.
