KYIV (QHA) -

According to Oleh Lyashko, MP and leader of the Radical Party, Crimean Tatars, as well as Ukrainians, were the victims of the Stalinist regime crimes.

“The Radical Party supports the initiative for recognition of genocide against Crimean Tatars. We sympathize with our brothers, Crimean Tatars, who like the Ukrainian people have experienced famine and great tragedy, when whole families were deprived of housing and native land, deported to steppe and fields without means of support. This genocide, the crime of the Stalinist regime against the Crimean Tatars, as well as other crimes of the Communist regime against people of the former Soviet Union, should never be forgotten,” said Oleh Lyashko.

The leader of the Radical Party believes that it is not enough to ban the communist symbols in Ukraine. The task of Ukrainians is to achieve the Nuremberg trials for the crimes of the Communist regime.
