– There are problems on the protection of human rights in Crimea, reports Valeria Lutkovskaya, Authorized Human Rights Representative at a briefing on the National Strategy for the human rights protection.

The international monitoring mission had been working in Crimea until Russian law on foreign agents didn’t make it impossible to go on with it anymore.

- Under Russian law the Crimean field mission cannot keep on carrying out its work, reports UNN news agency citing Lutkovskaya.

Therefore, Ukraine is looking for another organization monitoring human rights on the peninsula. Now Lutkovskaya hopes for conscientious monitoring and successful combat with human rights violations in Crimea.
