Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius warns that Russia is preparing an offensive on the NATO countries in the Baltic region just before the inauguration of newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, according to his interview with the BBC news agency.
He states that the 45th President of the United States does not share the opinion of the Europeans that Russia is an international aggressor, and Putin will try to attacks NATO units in the Baltic States to test the reaction of Trump.
Meanwhile, Lithuania published the handbook "Prepare to survive emergencies and war" with a detailed overview and description of Russian-made tanks, grenades, mines and guns, and instructions on how to recognize their different types. The handbook was developed by the Ministry of National Defense.
“Russia is not a superpower, it's a super problem,” said the Lithuanian Minister.
Lithuanian Minister Linkevičius stated earlier that Russia should not be in Syria, because "being the aggressor in Ukraine, it (Russia - Ed.) may not be a peacemaker somewhere else."
