Lines of vehicles at checkpoints have significantly increased, press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine informs.
"The biggest complication is now observed at the Chonhar checkpoint. "Here, the lines of those waiting for the departure from mainland Ukraine stretched for four kilometers and have a tendency to increase. On average, Russian border guards check one truck at least 40 minutes, and cars - 20 minutes," a statement reads.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, car drivers have to wait in line for about 5 hours, and trucks - at least 10 hours. At the same time, no complications are observed to enter mainland Ukraine.
Border guards say that this situation has a negative impact, primarily on the inhabitants of Crimea, who have to constantly go to mainland Ukraine.
The state border was set between Ukraine and Crimea, the rules of its crossing started operating from April 25.
