KYIV (QHA) -

The bill on the specifics of state policy for the restoration of state sovereignty of Ukraine over the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will be registered in the parliament on Wednesday, October 4, according to projections by Artur Gerasimov, the Chairman of the faction "Petro Poroshenko Bloc".

"I hope that this draft law will be introduced to the parliament as a legally verified text already on Wednesday," Gerasimov stated in the "Freedom of Speech" program of the ICTV channel on Monday evening.

According to the leader of the faction, at present "the final legal revision of this document is underway."

The people's deputy expects the parliament to pass the law until October 18, before the law "On the special order of local self-government in certain regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions" expires. Gerasimov further notes that the deputies understand "all the risks" in case the law is not adopted.

The Law of Ukraine "On the special order of local self-government in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions" was published in the official parliamentary newspaper "Golos Ukrainy" on October 20, 2014 and entered into force.

Reportedly, the bill proposes to extend the term of the law "On the special order of local self-government in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions" for another year.
