Oct. 8, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a meeting with Sergey Aksenov, Chairman of the occupation Crimean government.
According to the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, during the meeting "they exchanged their views on international and foreign economic relations of the Republic of Crimea."
Lavrov said that the Foreign Ministry would continue providing "all necessary assistance to the country to develop cooperation with foreign partners."
Reminder: Crimea is from time to time visited by foreign marginal politicians. In particular, the peninsula was visited by French MPs, former Prime Minister of Japan, and more recently Putin arrived in Crimea with scandalous former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry voiced protest at these visits to the Russia-occupied territory of the Crimea and prohibited these persons from entering the territory of Ukrainian.
