KYIV (QHA) - Co-chair of the European Parliament Monitoring Mission Aleksander Kwasniewski has announced a deadline to address the issue concerning Ukraine - November 19, according to Ukrinform.
He said this at a press briefing in the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday.
"At the meeting it has been decided that the workgroup has to prepare a law on the treatment of Tymoshenko abroad. We expect all issues to be resolved before the next session, so that on November 19 the parliament could make a final decision. 19 - this is the final date," he stressed.
Kwasniewski voiced hope that the Ukrainian MPs will demonstrate good will to find a consensus, and that "everyone who wants to sign the Association Agreement will find a compromise during these days."
Aleksander Kwasniewski and Pat Cox have left the Verkhovna Rada building. At 18-00 the mission will report in Brussels on the situation in Ukraine.
