Auditing committee of Kurultay-- Crimean Tatar national council-- made a decision not to use Russian language in official documents of the commission and will propound the question to Kurultay and Crimean Tatar NGOs.
Following decision was made at the session of auditing committee of Kurultay in Simferopol.
Crimean Constitution, adopted after the region’s annexation by Russia, declared Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar and Russian languages official ones in Crimea.
Kurultay auditing committee also agreed to propose withdrawing of all those Mejlis members who are working in Crimean government from their Mejlis posts.
To recall, Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people announced withdrawal of Mejlis representatives from the government amid the ban to Refat Chubarov -- head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people-- from entering Crimea.
“In view of the current situation and the lack of opportunities for cooperation with Crimean authorities and impossibility for constructive dialogue, Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people made a decision to recall its representatives from Crimean government”- Mejlis said.
