MOSCOW (QHA) -

The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov claims that the formulation of the Ukrainian bill on the reintegration of Donbas is neither de jure nor de facto acceptable.

“This law is quite declarative in nature. There is an article where the Russian Federation is called the aggressor. And the Minsk accords are not mentioned in it," Peskov said.

Putin's press secretary noted that such formulations are unacceptable for Russia.

He drew attention to the fact that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed this document, than indicated his consent to the implementation of the approved agreements.

“Such a legal contradiction is observed. And we note it," Peskov stated.

He once again focused on the fact that the law is declarative in nature. He went on saying that the second bill under consideration is more important.

“There is one more bill, which is already in line with the extension of the special status of Donbas. This is an important bill. Since the expiration of the previous law on special status, of course, caused concern," Peskov said.

Earlier the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the first reading adopted a presidential bill on the reintegration of Donbas and extended the special status of the Donbas for another year.
