It was reported earlier that Ukraine's Foreign Ministry issued a statement about the mass detentions of Crimean Tatars in Crimea on February 11 and 12. The Ministry called on the Russian Federation to immediately stop political repressions against the Ukrainian citizens and to release illegally detained representatives of Crimean Tatars.
A new wave of searches in Crimea began on February 11 and 12. As on February 12 morning, five people are being held illegally: Emir Usein Kuku, Vadim Siruk, Enver Bekirov, Eldar Selyamiev and Muslim Aliyev.
