Talking on the possibilities to accommodate the refugees from Syria and Yemen in Ukraine, the Minister said that solidarity is the basis of the European Union, so in future, when Ukraine becomes a fully fledged member of the European community, in addition to the great advantages, it will have to take up certain responsibilities.

- As of now, the Syrian refugees and other refugees don’t head for Ukraine, as they understand the current situation in our country. But, certainly, this question can become vital for us in future, said Klimkin.

It’s worth mentioning: the EU is now going through a ‘migration crisis’ due to the aggravation of the military conflicts in the Middle East.
