The creation of a separate international format on the Crimean issue is based on cooperation with the G-7 countries with the involvement of the EU countries and the Geneva format, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin informed during an “Hour of questions to the government”, answering the question of People's Deputy Refat Chubarov, the QHA correspondent reports.
“We are working on the creation of international structures for exerting pressure on the Russian Federation and gaining access to the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimea. The initiative of creating a separate international format for the Crimea is based on cooperation with the G-7 countries with the involvement of the EU countries and the Geneva format. We are also working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Council of Europe to create this international platform," Klimkin reported.
According to the minister, all partners of Ukraine have agreed to discuss a new format, except Russia, which is trying to totally block the issue.
