Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin during the meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Turkey discussed the issue of opening the Ukrainian consulate in Antalya. Klimkin shared the information on his page on Twitter.

The opening of the consulate of Ukraine in Antalya can happen already this year.

“In Turkey today. With a friend Mevlut, we discussed everything and even more: from strategic partnership to the opening of our Consulate in Antalya this year," he wrote.

It should be recalled that during the joint press conference with the Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister thanked the Turkish authorities for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The press conference was devoted to bilateral relations between Kyiv and Ankara.

Earlier, Pavlo Klimkin, at a meeting with his Turkish counterpart in Ankara, said that Ukraine and Turkey plan to reach the trade turnover level of $ 10 billion.

According to the Head of the Foreign Policy department of Ukraine, the achievement of this goal and the conclusion of the agreement on the Free Trade Area will be one of the main achievements of bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
